Michelle Nelford - Sales Associate
Michelle was born and raised in the beautiful Cowichan Valley. She graduated from Frances Kelsey in 2009 and attended the College of New Caledonia in Prince George where she took science based courses. She returned to the Cowichan Valley and continued her studies at VIU in Nanaimo. In 2012 she enrolled in a Veterinary Assisting program and obtained her diploma. Michelle has been steadily employed in the service industry since 2010. She enjoys the challenges and rewards of working with the public and is excited to bring to her real estate career the skills she acquired during those years.
Michelle’s introduction to real estate started very early in life, at a time when her grandfather, Gordon Grier, was the owner of Duncan Realty. Her mom regularly had her, and her brother, in tow as she balanced her family and professional life. Michelle is excited to join her mom, Elizabeth Biberger as part of her dynamic team and understands the commitment and high level of service expected as one of the team members. Her interests include animals, reading and cooking. Her special companion is her cat, Binx, whom she adopted from the local SPCA in 2015. She anticipates adding many more four legged companions in the next few years.
Nancy Galipeau - Office Administrator - Unlicensed
Nancy obtained her Real Estate license in 2005 in Ontario and worked with Exit Realty Seaway in Cornwall. In the fall of 2007 she joined the office team at Exit in an administration position as receptionist/clerk. Nancy has enjoyed 25 + years in customer service and this position was where she wanted to be. She enjoys working with and helping people.
Nancy moved to the Cowichan Valley with her family in December 2009, due to her husband’s employment relocation. Upon moving to the valley, she decided not to transfer her license but wanted to stay within real estate as she enjoys the business. Nancy joined Elizabeth Biberger’s team in April 2010, and hasn't looked back. Nancy brings her experience in real estate and customer service to the administration side of the business in day-to-day operations, handling email, website maintenance, preparing materials, helping sellers & buyers and assisting Elizabeth & Michelle wherever the need may be.
