Meet Elizabeth C. Biberger Personal Real Estate Corporation
Elizabeth moved to the Cowichan Valley in 1964 when her parents started dairy farming first on Lakes Road and then on the old Fairbridge farm on Koksilah Road. She graduated from Queen Margaret’s School in 1980 and then moved to Ontario where she studied at the University of Western Ontario and then at Queens University, from which she graduated in 1985 with a degree in law. Elizabeth did her articling in Vancouver and practiced law for a short time before returning to the Cowichan Valley in 1987. Elizabeth was unhappy with her choice of career and the stress it created made her re-think what she wanted to do with her life. Elizabeth considers herself a people person with a desire to help. The practice of law was not the positive environment Elizabeth needed to feel good about herself and her career. Her father, Gordon Grier, a successful agent himself, owned a real estate company in Duncan. Elizabeth made the decision to follow in his footsteps and in 1987 obtained her real estate license.
Elizabeth has years of negotiation experience behind her, in many different market environments which allows her to provide sound advice to each and every one of her clients. A purchase or sale will receive the highest level of service with a detailed approach to all aspects of the transaction.
When working with Elizabeth in your purchase, you will soon realize that during her years in the business she has gained a thorough understanding of so many aspects of the buying process. When working with Elizabeth in the sale of your home or property, you will appreciate the detailed approach she takes to the preparation and presentation of her listings.
Elizabeth has two children from her first marriage, Jason, and Michelle Nelford. When she married Hubert Biberger in 2000, she became the stepmom to two adult children, Nikki and Heidi. The family now includes a son in law Keith, a daughter in law Pamela and two grandsons, Ethan and Owen.
Outside of work Elizabeth likes to relax in her rear yard with her family and friends. Her husband, who is the ultimate handyman and Elizabeth’s best friend, has built a retreat complete with a fire pit and an outdoor brick pizza oven. Elizabeth loves to cook, read, walk and garden although she finds that with her busy work schedule there is never enough time at the end of the day.
Elizabeth has been an active member of the Business Practices Committee for much of her real estate career. She adheres to a high level of service and ethics. She takes regular continuing education courses in order to expand her knowledge and stay abreast of changes in the industry. In 1989 she wrote and received her Associate Brokers license.
Elizabeth has achieved the top 5% of residential Royal LePage agents in Canada and attributes her success to the loyalty, repeat business and referrals from former clients and other agents.
Elizabeth is an active member of the Duncan Rotary Club where she acts as the clubs Youth Exchange Officer and obtained her first Paul Harris Fellow in 2017.
